DUDLEY'S Black Country Living Museum is set to host a brainstorming session for people from all over the UK who are "passionate" about their town centres.

The event, on September 24, will feature challenges, workshops and exhibitions about ways of improving town centres and high streets.

It is organised by regeneration company Revive and Thrive and a panel of expert judges will assess businesses who explain why they are "best in class" for what they do.

Those attending will be able to find out more about cutting edge solutions to improve high streets and how to implement them in their own area.

They will also be able to sample the museum attractions, including the traditional fish and chip shop and pub.

Revive and Thrive managing director and founder Mark Barnes said: "For those working in towns, cities and high streets across the country, there is such a wide range of solutions that it can be confusing knowing what's best for their place.

"The aim of the day is to see which providers genuinely do stand out from the crowd and to allow practitioners to buy with confidence."

A limited number of tickets are still available for the event, costing £20, including entry to the museum - and they can be booked at www.reviveandthrive.co.uk
