CARING Chartwells Accountants from Dudley raised close on £4,000 for Cancer Research UK by hosting a hog roast.
They raised £3,871 for the charity’s lifesaving research by hosting the event, which included a day of fundraising activities including a raffle, quiz and guessing games.
Donna Westwood, director of Chartwells said: “We really enjoyed raising money for Cancer Research UK.
“We decided to support the charity because many of our staff have been affected by cancer in one way or another and felt that we wanted to give something back to the charity that has helped to support sufferers and strives to find ways to fight this terrible disease.”
