KIND-HEARTED players, staff and sponsors at Dudley Town FC brought much-needed Christmas cheer to poorly youngsters and their families at Russell’s Hall Hospital when they dished out hundreds of pounds of gifts.

Armed with sacks full of presents, club members visited the children’s ward at the Dudley borough’s main hospital to bring smiles to the faces of children undergoing treatment.

Dudley News:

It was the 13th year running that Dudley Town FC has donated gifts to the ward and this time the club had extra support from sponsor, training company BCTG.

Dudley Town FC chairman Stephen Austin said: “We want to say a big thank you to all the people who have supported our Christmas toy appeal."

BCTG director Chris Luty added: “It was lovely to hand out presents to the children on the ward."

Linda Taylor, hospital play specialist, said: “We are so very grateful, it’s lovely to have them visit the ward and make the children and their families feel special.”
