NEARLY new market sales which have been a haven for cash-strapped parents in Stourbridge are coming to Dudley.

The Dragon’s Den back initiative mum2mum market run baby and children’s nearly new sales where parents can buy and sell baby and children’s toys, clothes, books and equipment.

Following the success of their events in Kinver, local mums Nicki Rayner and Sam Davies are taking mum2mum market to Dudley, with their next event taking place on Saturday, April 2, between 10.30am and 12.30pm, at the town’s leisure centre.

Nicki said: “The events have quickly become really friendly community events with a loyal following. A lot of our stallholders have rebooked for future markets and people are always asking when the next event is.

“We are looking forward to reaching out to the people of Dudley to bring them a huge range of quality preloved baby and children’s items all under one roof and help them make some money back from their outgrown items.

“Despite the name, you don’t need to be a mum to sell, we’ve had lots of dads and grandparents running stalls too.”

The pair’s next Kinver market is set to take place between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday, April 29, at Kinver Community Centre.

Admission for both the Dudley and Kinver markets cost £2 on the door, while children are admitted for free. There is also free admission to all from noon.
