A DUDLEY businessman has raised £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support after successfully completing the Dudley Trail.
Mohammed Sagir, who runs Direct Link Communication in Wolverhampton Street, completed the six-mile route in the 2016 trail and raised £250 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
But this year he took on the nine-mile course, in aid of Macmillan, and completed the walk in a respectable three hours and ten minutes.
Mr Sagir, chairman of the Voice of Dudley Business, was among more than one thousand walkers taking part in the popular trail on Sunday (April 30) which started and finished at Dudley Leisure Centre and which took participants around some of the borough’s hidden gems.
Anyone wishing to boost Mr Sagir's fundraising total further can call into his shop in Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, to make a donation.
