PARENTS and future mums and dads are being invited to attend a new pre-natal course running for four weeks at Dudley Library.
The free sessions will give participants the confidence to use reading, music and singing activities to communicate with their bump or new baby.
The programme – funded by The Association of Senior Children’s and Education Librarians (ASCEL) as one of three national pilots to be used as case studies for the roll out of the offer nationally – covers the importance of communicating with their bump, staying healthy and stress free during pregnancy, and finding out what to expect from the first 48 hours of motherhood.
Starting on Friday, May 12, and running each Friday between 10.30am and 12.30pm, until Friday June 2, the course will also promote reading for families, children and adults and highlights the wider benefits of library membership.
Places on the course are limited, so parents are being advised to book early, by calling Donna on 01384 812955 or emailing libraries@dudley.gov.uk
