A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a woman was found at a property in Dudley yesterday (Thursday,May 4).
The discovery was made in a property just after 11.30am in Highgate Road and the area was immediately sealed off for forensic examination.
Officers are now trying to identify the woman in order for family members to be informed.
A post mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow to determine the cause of her death.
Detective Superintendent Tom Chisholm, from force CID, said: "This investigation is moving swiftly and our enquiries have already led to one arrest.
"I would urge anyone with information which could help us to call us on 101."
The 24-year-old man was arrested in Walsall yesterday evening and remains in police custody.
