UKIP will switch to a US-style of campaigning this weekend when they bring a mobile stage to Dudley’s Stone Square.

The stage will host entertainment and pizzazz, with UKIP activists in attendance to explain the purple party’s manifesto to all who are interested between 12noon and 3pm on Saturday (June 3).

Bill Etheridge MEP, UKIP’s candidate for Dudley North, said he hopes the format will draw attention.

He added: “I want to talk to as many voters as possible and let them know first-hand what I am standing for, rather than what they are spoon-fed by the main stream media.

“There will be plenty of literature for people to take away and read for themselves. I hope they will agree with our ideas.

“It is incredibly important that UKIP remain a thorn in the establishment’s side for many years to come, not only over Brexit, but also to defend individual freedoms from state intrusion.”
