FOUR people have been charged in connection with the death of a 20-year-old Quarry Bank woman who fell from a car bonnet on a Dudley supermarket car park.

Ellie Underhill, of Shearwater Drive, died a week after suffering head injuries in the incident which happened on the car park at Tesco Extra, off Birmingham Road, on Boxing Day 2016.

Luke Hickman, aged 19, of Wassell Road, Wollescote, has been charged with manslaughter and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Ross Bingham, aged 20, of Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Elly Phillips, aged 19, of Seymour Road, Wollescote, and Hana Edwards, aged 18, of Grove Road, Wollescote, are accused of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

They are due to appear before Walsall Magistrates Court on Wednesday January 10.
