Beautiful blooms set for Lower Gornal church

A LOWER Gornal church will come alive with beautiful blooms this weekend as it holds a flower festival.
St James the Great will be bringing to life The Twelve Apostles in its arrangements.
The church will be open for viewing on Friday and Saturday from 10am and Sunday from 1pm.
Entrance is £2 and refreshments will be available in the memorial hall.
A concert by the Summerhill Choral Society will also take place on Saturday, May 14 at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £3.50.
