Man hurt in unprovoked pub attack in Gornal
A MAN was subjected to a barrage of abuse before being assaulted in a beer garden in Gornal.
The 28-year-old victim was at the Red Lion on Abbey Road when the unprovoked attack took place.
He was knocked unconscious by another man and suffered a broken cheek, two black eyes and bruising to his throat and arm.
The assault happened at around 8pm on July 26 and reported to police five days later.
