The 21st Annual General Meeting of the Society was held at the Kingswinford Community Centre on December 3. After the secretary’s report on the past years activities and the treasurers report that the Society was in a good financial position, the following officers and committee were re-elected:- Chairman Brenda Arthur, Vice-chairman Ray James, Membership Secretary Ena Jones, Speaker Secretary Betty Holding, Treasurer Ron Julian and committee members Joyce Burns, Michael Jackson and Mavis James.

The formal part of the meeting was followed by light refreshments and wine together with musical entertainment provided by the “Eve Evans Experience”.

There will be no meeting in January and the programme resumes in February 2013 at 7.30pm in the Community Centre when Ned Williams will be speaking on “Brierley Hill Local History”.

All are welcome, new members especially.

For an annual membership fee of £4 and a monthly payment of £1.50, to include tea and biscuits, you are guaranteed an interesting evening.
