Kingswinford and Wordsley libraries are appealing for residents to help shape the future of their service.

The Friends of Kingswinford and Wordsley Libraries have organised a special meeting to attract potential new members.

Residents are invited to a coffee morning on Thursday July 16, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, where they can find out what they can do to contribute.

Councillor Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “We recognise the huge contribution that friends groups can make to improving and developing library services.

“Working together can help ensure that the library service is relevant to local people.”

The event takes place at Wordsley Library, in Wordsley Green, and also features a ukulele performance by KADS – the Kingswinford and District Strummers.
