The society meets at the Community Centre, High Street, Kingswinford on the first Monday in the month. At the July meeting John Billingham gave his presentation of ‘Worcester Images’.
Most of the views were of familiar towns and villages and he explained the significance of hop picking in the Teme Valley, Broadway and its Tower, Pershore Abbey, Worcester Cathedral, Bewdley and the influence of John Corbett and the salt production of Droitwich.
The next meeting on August 3 at 7.30 pm sees Robert Ernshaw, a warden at Wrens Nest Nature Reserve presenting his talk on the area. On the following Monday members are invited to join him on a walk at the reserve.
