POLICE have been left baffled after a spate of break-ins at South Staffordshire golf clubs including Enville Golf Club and Kingswinford Golf Centre where buggies have been vandalised and dumped.

The first incident was reported just after 5am on Monday December 7 when Swindon Golf Club, Blackhills, was broken into.

Golf buggies were damaged and driven around the golf course, causing damage to grass.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 58 of December 7.

The second incident, reported at 8.30am on Tuesday December 8, happened at Enville Golf Club, near Stourbridge, where golf buggies were spray painted, driven and abandoned nearby.

The third incident, reported just before 11pm on Sunday December 13, happened at Penn Golf Club, Penn Common, and saw golf buggies driven around the golf course and damaged.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 743 of December 13.

The fourth incident was reported at 10.35am on Monday December 14 at Kingswinford Golf Centre, Swindon Road, and saw golf buggies driven, abandoned and their batteries stolen.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 222 of December 14.
