Kingswinford Ladies Social Circle
The meeting took place at The Royal British Legion on July 7 and the chairman Sheila, welcomed all present including entertainer Marlene.
There was no business news so Sheila explained the September luncheon had been cancelled but a Christmas luncheon would be arranged.
Payments for the outing to Trentham, on November 10 would be collected by Ann and Jean at the end of the evening.
The September meeting will be the Harvest Supper and members must remember cutlery, plate, dish and produce for the Harvest Table. The latter will be auctioned after the meal and proceeds given to a charity.
Marlene proceeded to entertain us with her Black Country poems, jokes and tales of "wome". We never stopped laughing especially after her final song.
Adele need not panic.
Ena gave the vote of thanks and two ladies won raffle prizes.
The next meeting will be on September 1 at 7.45pm.
