A GARAGE was broken into in Kingswinford yesterday (Monday, August 1), with offenders making off with an off-road motorbike.

Staffordshire Police is investigating the burglary, which reportedly took place between 12am and 10.30am at a farm in Greenforge.

Officers said that unknown offenders were able to cut the padlock off a gate before forcing entry into the garage by prising the metal roller shutter with a scaffold pole and making off with the scrambler motorbike.

A police spokesperson said: “Please remind neighbours to be on their guard and to ensure all sheds, garages and outbuildings are left as secure as possible at all times. Please report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.”

Officers are appealing for anyone who might have information to help their investigation to call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 252 of 1 August.
