MEMBERS of the public are invited to leave messages of remembrance on a poppy display outside Kingswinford Methodist Church.
Youngsters from the church in Stream Road have been making poppies made from plastic bottle bottoms to decorate the cross in front of the building – ahead of Remembrance Sunday – and they aim to intertwine the poppies with messages of remembrance left by members of the public and the congregation.
Labels, on which to write messages, are available,. in a box at the front of the church which will be hosting a service of Remembrance at 10.30am on Sunday (November 13), followed by a two-minute silence at 11am.
Refreshments will be available afterwards.
