Kingswinford Ladies Social Circle
The AGM for the Ladies Circle was held at The Royal British Legion, Kingswinford,
on March 3. Chairman Sheila Evans welcomed all present including a visitor and the visiting choir. Business matters were read and approved including the re- election of three
committee members. Sheila thanked all members for their loyal support during a difficult year when some members have passed away and several others not enjoying good health. Sadly she announced May Raven had passed away in February. Sheila thanked The Royal British Legion for their generous support.
Entertainment was provided by The Brand Hall choir with their conductor Tracey Bright, accompanied by guitarist, Mike, and he and his wife and other choir members dedicate a lot of their time to working with people with dementia who respond to music.
Ena Baker thanked the choir for their uplifting programme.
The next meeting will be on April 6 at 7.45pm.
