Netherton pervert given psychiatric care

A 51 YEAR-old Netherton pervert with a history of groping young girls has been made the subject of a restricted hospital order.

Judge Amjad Nawaz told David Parsons, of Spring Road, it was clear he presented the danger of further offending as he stressed it was essential he underwent psychiatric care.

Parsons had been found guilty of sexual activity with a child and remanded for reports at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Glyn Samuel prosecuting said Parsons approached a young girl on a canal bridge and had engaged her in conversation before staring at her breasts.

Then, as the frightened girl tried to leave, he grabbed her from behind and carried out a sexual offence, Mr Samuel told the judge.

He said Parsons had previous convictions for similar behaviour and had also chased a number of young boys who were forced to take refuge in trees as Parsons carried out a sexual act.
