Artspace launches in Netherton

A VARIETY of arts and craft sessions will be available at a new arts venue opening in Netherton next month.

Following the success of Artspace in Dudley and Brierley Hill, the Netherton Regeneration Group has joined forces with Dudley Council to run art workshops for the next six months.

Residents can take part in a number of sessions provided by Dudley Council’s adult and community learning team at the Savoy Centre on Northfield Road.

Workshops include an introduction to watercolours, creative art, jewellery making, cupcake design and family crafts.

An open day to find out more information is taking place on Saturday, October 1, with the first session starting on Wednesday, October 6.
