AN 18-year-old Sedgley man has pleaded guilty of attempting to murder a Stourbridge teenager as she walked to school earlier this year.

He pleaded guilty to attempting to murder Chloe West, who was 14 at the time of the stabbing, outside Ridgewood High School in Wollaston on April 1.

The former Bishop Milner pupil has also pleaded guilty to unlawfully wounding former Ridgewood student Ben Hudson, who jumped in to try and stop the attack, and guilty to possessing an offensive weapon - an eight-inch kitchen knife.
