Performing Sedgley pooch makes waves in Titanic show

A PERFORMING pooch from Sedgley has been stealing the show this week in a production about ill-fated ocean liner RMS Titanic.

Sedgley pooch Charlotte, a Pekingese-Shih Tzu Cross, is among four board-treading canines taking part in West Bromwich Operatic Society’s production of Titanic - The Musical, which is running at The Grand theatre in Wolverhampton until Saturday April 21.

The show, being staged to mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, also features seasoned Black Country perfomers Leon and Rachel Horton, from Hagley, Kim Lavender from Wollaston, Anna Forster from Wollescote and Louise Shriane from Wollaston.

Shih Tzus John Wayne and Miss Daisy, owned by performer Louise Shriane, are also appearing in the show, together with a Japanese Chin from Wolverhampton called Linus.
