The role of Maria is up for grabs
THE Quarry Bank Musical Theatre Society will bring the hills alive when they put on a production of The Sound of Music next year.
New members, regardless of experience, are invited to audition for numerous roles including the novice nun Maria Rainer and the various Von Trapp children.
A workshop for children will take place at at Birch Coppice Church, Quarry Bank, on Saturday November 23, between 10am-noon, with auditions following from 12.30pm.
Auditions for adults will be on Saturday December 7, from 10am-4pm.
The society will perform the popular musical at the Brierley Hill Civic Hall from June 3-7.
