Chairman V Wright welcomed twenty one members and one visitor to the April meeting.
The meeting progressed as usual with the reading and signing of the minutes of our previous meeting.
Treasurer Mrs L James gave her report.
Mrs V Raybould had information from Federation. We were told that the recent art and craft display had been very successful also that a member of Federation would be going to the AGM at Glasgow to represent the West Midlands TG.
Social secretary Mrs M Writtle gave information regarding the visit to The Lodge. This will consist of lunch, also entertainment with a 50s theme. The speaker this evening was Alan Hill with his talk “Around the world”. This was a very interesting talk, illustrated with slides, including Hong Kong, Australia, Hawaii and San Francisco. Mr Hill was thanked for his unusual and informative talk. The next meeting will be on May 19 and will include a bring and buy.
