ROADS in Quarry Bank are set to be disrupted later this month, motorists have been warned.
Dudley Council is closing High Street on April 18 and Mount Pleasant on April 19 – both between 7.30pm and 10pm – as part of road resurfacing work.
Quarry Bank High Street is set to be shut between the roundabout at the Park Lane junction and Merry Hill, with diversions in place via Forge Lane, Lower High Street, St Anne’s Road, Quarry Road, Saltwells Road and Coppice Lane.
During the evening closure of Mount Pleasant, the diversion route will be via Mill Street and The Boulevard.
A council spokeswoman said the closures are necessary to “safely facilitate the carriageway resurfacing work” and that access to the frontages will be “maintained where safe to do so”.
