ROADS in Quarry Bank are set to be disrupted next week, residents and motorists are being warned.

Dudley Council is closing Woodland Avenue – between its junctions with Charles Road and High Street on Tuesday, May 31, and Wednesday, June 1, to allow workers to carry out a dropped kerb installation.

Cars will be diverted along Woodland Avenue, Sheffield Street, High Street and Cradley Forge, Maypole Fields, Bower Lane and Park Road.

A council spokeswoman said access to the frontages during the closure, which will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm, will be “maintained where safe to do so”.
