THE trial of a man accused of murdering Shane Watson in Sedgley last July is will get under way next week.

Shylon Wishart, aged 19, of North Springfield, is alleged to have taken part in an attack on Mr Watson, aged 23, in which he suffered fatal head injuries.

His body was found in an alley in Spring Grove at 3.20am on July 28, Mr Wishart denies murder.

The trial, which is expected to last two weeks, will get under way at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday April 8.

James Cartwright, aged 18, from Sandyfields Road, Sedgley, has already pleaded guilty to murder and will be sentenced at the end of the trail.
