SUPERMUMS who set up a summer playscheme in St Mary Cray threw a party to celebrate their success.
Debbie Pointing and Rachael Gardner both live on the Mountfield Estate which has limited facilities for young children.
They set up a twice-weekly playscheme at the estate community centre to enable parents and children to get out and have fun through the summer.
Different activities were held at each session and a clown kept the party spirit going at the grand finale party.
Party guest Janice Chan, from the Cray Community Forum, said: “Debbie and Rachael have done an excellent job setting everything up from scratch. They have done a real service to families at Mountfield.”
THE leader of Dudley Council claims town residents have been given a “smack in the teeth” after a planning inspector granted permission for the £18 million mosque and community training and enterprise centre.
AFTER writing about Wrosne - An Underground Experience for the past year, I thought I would know what to expect from the underground caverns performance. But how wrong I was.
