PINT-sized pop duo Bars and Melody were greeted by hundreds of screaming fans when they launched their debut single at Merry Hill.

The young Britain's Got Talent finalists signed copies of Hopeful, at HMV on Wednesday (July 30).

Rapper Leondre Devries, aged 13 and 15-year-old singer Charlie Lenehan performed the track at their first audition for the TV talent show.

Their talents combined with the song’s strong anti-bullying message has gained them an army of loyal fans, who scooped up all of the copies of the single the shop had to offer.

Kelly Reed, senior marketing manager at Merry Hill, said: “It was brilliant to have Bars and Melody at the centre this week.

"We had such a great turnout of shoppers wanting to meet the boys themselves.

“We’re sure their new single will be a huge hit and we can’t wait to welcome them back in the future.”
