AN annual pilgrimage to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire is being organised by Blackheath’s Royal British Legion.
The coach trip, on Saturday September 20, will be the branch’s fifth visit to the site at Alrewas, which commemorates the lives of service personnel and civilians who sacrificed their lives.
Anyone who wants to go should call branch secretary Mark Splilsbury on 07950 948013. The coach tickets are £7 each, with pick-up at Blackheath at 9.15am, returning at about 4.30pm.
