TWO charities are appealing for volunteers to help collect bucket loads of cash at a Black Country supermarket.
Collections will take place on February 13 and 14 at Tesco, Stourbridge and will mark the beginning of a new pioneering three year partnership between Tesco, Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation.
Jenna Hall, programme director of the National Charity Partnership, said: "Cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes are both serious conditions that can shorten lives. But it doesn't have to be this way.
"Through this partnership, we aim to help millions of people reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
"By joining us at the Stourbridge store you can play a part in helping people live longer, healthier lives."
Anyone interested in volunteering should email tescocollections@bhf.org.uk or call Michelle Parry at the British Heart Foundation on 020 7554 0520.
