A CHURCH in Worcester is selling prints of its building as part of a fundraising drive.

St Matthew and Holy Trinity Church in Ronkswood is selling the unframed prints to raise money for its new church building.

Its previous building was demolished in November after being declared at the end of its working life by experts.

Angie Hughes, churchwarden, said: “The love that people have shown for our church which so sadly had to be demolished has been incredible.

“These prints have been taken from the original painting by renowned local artist David Birtwhistle and we hope that it might provide a lasting memento of the building to someone whose wedding or baptism took place in the church.”

The prints are available to buy at Ronkswood Post Office, of Lichfield Avenue, and cost £5, with all proceeds going towards church funds.
