Pictures: Wind damage in Herefordshire

Emergency services were called out twice overnight to incidents caused by the strong winds.

Fire crews attended a property in Pontrilas at around 1.38am this morning to remove panels from the roof of a perspex consevatory which had become loose in the wind.

They were also called to the A49 at Harewood End at around 2.30am after a branch fell onto a BT cable. The incident was left with the Highways Agency.

Postman, Richard Spoors, faced quite an obstacle on his route this morning after wind knocked down a tree on Noke Lane in Pembridge.

The marquee at G&S car sales was blown onto the roof of the office early on Tuesday morning causing damage to some nearby cars.
