PUPILS at Leominster's Earl Mortimer College saw school out in style at their 'Oscars' themed prom.
And as always, the year-11 students sought out unique transportation for the event, arriving in the likes of a polished combine harvester, flash sports car, vintage tractor, VW camper, horse box and an array of vintage cars.
Julian Wharam, assistant principal at Earl Mortimer College, said: "It was fantastic – we had a huge downpour at 5pm and had to roll up the red carpet to save it from getting drenched.
"By 7pm though, the students began to arrive and the whole EMC plaza was bone dry again in the beautiful evening sunshine.
"Hundreds of onlookers flooded down to the plaza to see the students dressed in their fabulous dresses and dapper suits."
Pupils walked along the new 20m red carpet, being photographed by friends, family and school staff in recognition of their star quality before spending the evening celebrating at the school.
