FOUR Shropshire councillors for Ludlow and Clee want to find out what people living in the area are worried about.

They have launched a community survey to find out just what matters to people who live in Ludlow and the surrounding area. The survey is online at: teamludlow.uk

“A lot of people have contacted me about streetlights,” said Vivienne Parry who represents Ludlow South.

“They say they don’t feel as safe going to work in the early morning or going home after midnight. We’d like hear what people think."

Tracey Huffer, Shropshire Councillor for Ludlow East and a nurse said health remains a big issue.

Richard Huffer, Shropshire Councillor for Clee said it was the largest survey of its kind ever undertaken and Andy Boddington who represents Ludlow North says that it is completely non-party political.

“We are concerned solely with how safe people feel in the town and what they think about health services and survey is completely anonymous,” he said.

The results from the survey will be published at the end of October. A report will also be made to the meeting of the Ludlow and Clee Local Joint Committee on October 22.
