RAMBLERS in Bromsgrove are encouraging residents to leave their footprints in the snow and join them on one of their free wintry walks.
The annual Ramblers Festival of Winter Walks, which is taking place between December 17 and January 8, will include events in Hanbury, Marlbrook, Clent and Chaddesley Corbett.
Bromsgrove Ramblers chairman Clare Stallard said: "Our popular Festival of Winter Walks is our Christmas gift to people in the Bromsgrove area, so that everyone can enjoy the wonders of a winter walk. Our walks during the festival are free, fun, friendly and open to everyone."
A Christmas walk to Hanbury will start at All Saints Church Hall at 10am on December 18, when mulled wine and mince pies will be supplied to all taking part.
On Monday, December 19, Ramblers will be doing a one-mile walk starting at Sanders Park Cafe at 10am.
Leaders will be taking walkers through Marlbrook on Friday, December 23, starting from the far Sanders Park car park at 10am.
The group will then be walking through Clent and Walton Hill on Friday, December 30, again starting at the far Sanders Park car park at 10am.
Those hoping to get the New Year off to a healthy start can join Ramblers' New Year's Day Walk through Chaddesley Corbett. The trek will start at All Saints Church Hall at 10am.
