THE two occupants of a house in Kidderminster were threatened during a burglary.

On Monday morning, two men entered a house, threatened occupants and one of them then made to open a safe.

The burglars then stole a quantity of cash before leaving the scene.

The incident happened on Chester Road South between 3.45am and 4.13am.

The suspects are described as two men, who were both wearing dark or black clothing, gloves and ski masks.

It's believed that they spoke with Irish accents.

Det Con Thomas Pritchard said: "This was a frightening incident for the victims and we are extremely keen to trace the offenders.

"Additional patrols are taking place and there is not believed to be a wider threat to the community.

"Investigations are ongoing and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has information that could help us."
