HEREFORD & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service is looking to recruit new members for its Redditch branch of the Young Firefighters Association (YFA).
Youngsters, aged 13-17, can complete a 13 week course which includes teaching firefighting skills.
At the end of the course they show these skills off at a passing out parade which will be attended friends, family, local dignitaries and senior officers.
Young firefighters are also involved in charity and community events, social outings and an annual camp.
Ben Tidmarsh who joined the YFA in 2015, said: "I love learning about the Fire Service and we get to do the things we wouldn’t normally be able to do."
Shannon Taylor, who joined in 2014, added: "I really enjoy coming to meet my friends each week and doing different things in the community."
Interested youngsters can attend an awareness evening at Redditch Fire Station, Birmingham Road, on Thursday, January 26 at 7pm.
