A TEENAGER suffered injuries to his eye socket and cheek bone after being attacked by a gang of boys in Rubery.
The 19-year-old man was riding a bike in St Chad's Park in New Road at around 6pm on February 13, when a group of teenage boys punched him in the face and kicked him in the back.
They were challenged by passersby and fled the scene.
West Mercia Police is now appealing for witnesses to come forward, especially the members of the public who intervened.
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 517s.
