A CLIMBER who died after a fall in the Scottish Highlands has been named as a 25-year-old man from Evesham.
Owen Griffiths died in hospital after sustaining serious head injuries in the fall.
Police were informed about the incident at Alladin's Couloir, Coire an t-Sneachda, near Aviemore, at noon on Tuesday, February 21.
Members of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team attended and a coastguard helicopter took him to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Mr Griffiths' family will not be issuing a statement, according to the police.
