CHILDREN at School House Private Day Nursery brought their mums and nans to school with them last week, to show them how special they are in time for Mother's Day.
The Priory Road nursery held afternoon tea parties throughout the week, offering biscuits and cakes made by pupils, as a thank you to their loved ones.
Families spent the afternoon planting bulbs together to be taken home as a Mother's Day gift.
Nursery manager Steph Grasby said: "We would like to thank all our families for taking the time to share this special event with us. Following on from this the children will be exploring spring and watching flowers and vegetables grow. This will include 'wellie walks' around the village and a visit from a local farmer with his spring lambs."
