A GROUP of 33 pupils from years Nine, Ten and 12 at the Chase School, Malvern, visited Spain as part of a long-running exchange programme with a school in Toledo.

The pupils enjoyed the ancient towns of Toledo and Torrijos as well as the international city of Madrid. They discovered its incredible art museums and learnt interesting Spanish history and culture. They also tried different kinds of food like tapas, torrijas, paella and churros. Many of the students made close friendships and improved their Spanish fluency by talking to Spaniards of their age.

Students from the Spanish school will be visiting Malvern in May, and staff and students at the Chase are looking forward to seeing them again and teaching them about English culture and food.
