TWO charities received money raised throughout the year by a social club.
Evesham Hospital Social Club hosted a charity presentation night handing over £350 each to Smile Cafe Evesham and St Richard's Hospice.
Margaret Dowdeswell represented Smile Cafe Evesham, a local charity located in Port Street supporting people with mental health issues.
They meet up every Wednesday 10am-12noon at the Mick Sharp Memorial Hall.
Charlie Homer represented St. Richard's Hospice, which cares for people with life-limiting illnesses.
Secretary of Evesham Hospital Social Club, Aline Cornish said: "Our appreciation goes to everyone who has contributed and attended our charity raffle nights, also to the EWMC Fishing Club who donated £150 towards our total.
"A great night was had by all and we danced the night away thanks to the wonderful entertainment "Me & Mrs Jones" duo."
