POLICE have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances after a man’s body was found at a home at Merry Hill.
Officers were alerted after a man, aged 25, was found dead at a property in The Embankment, Brierley Hill, at around 3.20pm last Saturday (April 22).
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a paramedic area support officer and the hazardous area response team to the scene after receiving reports of a man unconscious at the property but a spokesman said “the patient was confirmed deceased” on arrival.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police has since confirmed ‘the death is not being treated as suspicious”.
The cause of death has not been disclosed and the man has not been named.
