THE show will go on at one county village hall thanks to a lottery grant.

The Sellack and Kings Caple Players previously put on a pantomime every year, but recently haven’t been able to because the old stage was rotten and unsafe.

But that's set to change following the arrival of a new stage at Sellack Village Hall – thanks to funding from Awards for All.

The pantomimes are always played to packed audiences and the ticket sales go to support Kings Caple Church Fund and the ongoing maintenance for Sellack Village Hall.

Modular Stage Systems provided the new stage, steps and safety rails and the new equipment is quick to assemble and packs away easily on trolleys.

The hall will use the stage for performances, presentations and music events. This year’s pantomime is Aladdin, with performances lined up for Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2 at 7.30pm. There is also a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

The bar will be open and hot dogs will be on sale before the performances and during the interval.

Entry is £8 for adults and £4 for children. Call 01989 565562 or 762141 for more information.
