CITY mayor Steve Mackay was the guest of honour at Bromyard Road Methodist Church at St Johns, when it held its Christmas fair on Saturday.
The fair included all the time-honoured attractions, including raffle and tombola, and visitors were also able to relax with teas from the canteen.
Among the stallholders selling crafts and other items was Zoe Lewis of Worcester, who recently gave up teaching to devote herself full time to her business Z Crafts, making needle-felted items.
She said: "It's what I really wanted to do and having the chance to sell them at fairs like this is great."
