TWO men with knives made off with cash from the tills at Tesco Express in Marlbrook last night.

Police were called to the Old Birmingham Road supermarket shortly after 10pm on Wednesday, January 17, following reports that two men had entered the store, both brandishing a bladed weapon.

There were no reported injuries.

Both suspects are described as black, in their 20s, around 6ft and of a medium build.

They were wearing black footwear, black trousers and black gloves. One was wearing a plain black hooded top, which was zipped up at the front with the hood up.

The other was wearing a plain dark green hooded top with a black hood, which was up, and a black baseball cap.

Detective Inspector Ed Slough, from West Mercia Police, said: "An investigation is underway and enquiries are ongoing to identify and locate those responsible.

"We would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information that could assist with the investigation to please call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 668s."
