A DUDLEY pub will host a performance of Idle Women for one night only.
Alarum Theatre is bringing its production to The Lamp Tavern in High Street on May 1.
The play tells the story of women who worked on the canals in the World War II - who were nicknamed idle women despite being anything but.
It is written and performed by Heather Waste and Kate Sattin, who featured on BBC One's Country File earlier this year.
The performance is a Lamp Tavern Live event and will start at 7.30pm.
Admission is £6 on the door.
