4.30pm UPDATE: West Mercia OCC's twitter has issued an update, reporting the lorry has now had its wheel replaced, and the road is now clear.

DRIVERS are being advised to avoid the A46 as lorry had had a blow out, and lost an axle.
West Mercia Operations and Communications Centre has tweeted about the incident in the last 20 minutes.
The tweet adds: "Signs are out but there have been a few near misses.
"Recovery will be at least an hour please exercise caution or take an alternative route."
